KHW Founder, Katie Moyer, was recently appointed by Agriculture Commissioner Ryan Quarles, to the Kentucky Hemp Advisory Board for a second term.
The Commonwealth of Kentucky has over 200 different boards and commissions which oversee and advise the state government on certain areas of expertise.
The Hemp Advisory Board is made up of a wide variety of professionals from various areas of the hemp industry, including regulators, university researchers, farmers, and business owners. Katie represents the processing segment of the hemp industry, more specifically seed processing. Her stated goal is to make sure that hemp producers and processors are well represented and state regulators hear their voice, concerns, and suggestions to make Kentucky a leader in our field.
