Hemp Homeschool – Lesson 8: Hemp Protein

After the oil is pressed from the seed, the solid material (the “sticks” Katie is holding) is extruded from the cold press. It’s warm and soft at first but hardens as it cools and dries.  This seed cake is then ground into a fine powder using a hammermill and then a stone burr mill.

An excellent source of plant protein, Hemp Protein Powder can be added to your food in a variety of ways.
