Questions: Does your CBD oil contain THC? Will using your CBD oil cause a positive drug test?
Answers: Yes and possibly.

In addition to the major cannabinoids (THC and CBD), full-spectrum (whole plant) CBD oil contains over 400 active compounds in trace levels or higher. Kentucky Hemp Works’ plants have been tested and contain well below the 0.3% THC limit.
In the past, cannabis research had been focused primarily on THC. However, it has become clear that the compounds in cannabis are most effective when used together. More recent research has focused on how the full spectrum of cannabinoids work better together than when isolated from one another. This is known as “The Entourage Effect”.

We also receive many inquiries about the taste of our CBD oil or whether we make artificially-flavored CBD oil. We choose to use a complete full spectrum recipe by using hemp seed oil as a carrier instead of cheap carrier oils. Hemp seed oil is packed with Omega acids and all the essential fatty acids that we need for good brain and cardio health. Why pay for extras and fillers? Kentucky Hemp Works’ CBD oil is a full-spectrum CBD oil. Therefore, it does contain trace amounts (.3% or lower) of THC. To date, we have not received any reports of our CBD oil causing a positive (or false positive) THC drug test; however, studies have shown that it is possible. We suggest that you either discuss your CBD use with your doctor, employer or anyone else that you must submit to a drug test or discontinue use at least two weeks in advance of testing.
