The Great American Eclipse "On August 21, 2017, millions of people across the United States will see nature's most wondrous spectacle — a total eclipse of the Sun. It is a scene of unimaginable beauty; the Moon completely blocks the Sun, daytime becomes a deep twilight, and the Sun’s corona shimmers in the darkened sky." - The Great American Eclipse FB page We are extremely proud and privileged to be right in the heart of the longest totality zone for The Great American Eclipse here at Kentucky Hemp Works. The local Christian County, and the hub of Hopkinsville, have been gearing up for this event for months. We have seen new businesses spring up to cater to the 100,000 strong expected visitor surge, farmers renting out plots of land for happy eclipse campers and hundred of cool commemorative t-shirts designed by a multitude of local entrepreneurs. You can find out all there is to know about the eclipse here, and keep checking in on social media over the weekend where we will be bringing you live coverage of all the local activities as well as the eclipse itself.
